Dear Baby Jogger Customer:
We
thank you for contacting Baby Jogger/Brands in Motion regarding your City Versa
stroller. Baby Jogger, in cooperation
with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada, has decided
to conduct a voluntary safety recall in connection with the City Versa. We have determined that a component part on
the stroller interferes with the proper functioning of the fold mechanism,
posing a fall hazard to children. The approved remedy for this recall is to
replace the frames for the affected and recalled strollers.
Enclosed you will find a new City Versa stroller frame which meets our quality standards. After you remove the new replacement frame from the box, we ask that you remove the seat, wheels, basket, and any accessories from your original stroller frame and destroy the defective frame.
Before use of your new replacement frame you will need to re-attach the basket and wheels. Assembly instructions are enclosed for your convenience.
