Children like it because of its smooth surface; it can also be used as a teether, because of her bumpy head. Sophie fits perfectly into small hands and makes happy squeak when squeezed. It is made in the French Alps with non-toxic paint and rubber. Sophie has been cuddled and chewed for 50 years!
