Tiny Love Mobiles are back! After months of waiting, we can finally provide our customers with the mobile they love. Tiny Love mobiles are unique in their many features. They play 20 minutes of 4 types of music (2 classical and 2 nature). The music is easy for baby and parents to listen to. They also have a night light feature on the music box which calms baby while in their crib. Tiny Love stands apart from other mobiles because of their great movement. Each mobile has different movements for the characters hanging overhead. The Sweet Island Dream mobile has a special attachment that allows it to fit on most cribs. The Nature’s Serenade mobile has an extra soothing light that looks down at baby. They both however come with the great feature of a remote that turns the mobile on and off. 

Tiny Love also has what they call The 7 Elements System. The developmental benefits of the mobile are: The Senses, Gross Motor Skills, Fine Motor Skills, Object Performance, Language and Communication, Cognition and EQ (Emotional Intelligence)

Product Name: Summer Infant Video Baby Monitors with Electrical Cords

Full Product Description

The recall involves all models of Summer Infant video baby monitors with electrical cords. The monitor comes in various colours and the recall also includes a corded camera.

Hazard Identified

The cords present a potential strangulation hazard to infants and toddlers if placed too close to a crib. Due to the serious strangulation risk, parents and caregivers should never place these monitors or other corded cameras within one meter (three feet) of a crib.

Health Canada would like to remind parents to place cribs away from windows, curtains, blind cords, lamps, electrical plugs and extension cords. The baby's head could become caught in the cords, resulting in strangulation.

Summer Infant has received two reports of strangulation deaths and one near strangulation incident occurring in the United States in the past year.

Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these products.

Corrective Action

Consumers should immediately check the location of the video monitors, including cameras mounted on the wall, and all electric cords to make sure the cords are secured at least one meter (three feet) away from their child and then contact Summer Infant to receive a new permanent electric cord warning label about the strangulation risk and revised instructions about how to safely mount camera and keep cords out of child's reach.
The purpose of the recall is to provide new warning labels to be affixed to the product and safe installation instructions for all models of Summer Infant video baby monitors with electrical cords.
