Taking your baby to the cottage this summer...

Taking a infant to the cottage for the first time is many babies' first trip. You may not be flying anywhere but it takes almost as much work to go up north for the first time.

Top 5 things to know or do before heading out..
  1. Know where the nearest hospital is and what your local emergency phone number is.
  2. Create a first kit to take with you - include sunscreen, antihistamines and band aids
  3. Life vests - Nothing is more exciting to toddlers as water - let them play in the water safely
  4. Brush up on your local flora and fauna - poison ivy is everywhere in Ontario and knowing what it looks like will keep everyone itch free
  5. Keep your cell phone charged.
