Full Product Description
This
recall involves various crib tents and play yard tents made by Tots in Mind,
Inc. Consumers can identify their tent by the 5 centimetres x 4 centimetres (2
inches x 1½ inches) label with Tots In Mind logo located on the non-mesh
portion near the top of the tent.
The dome-shaped white-coloured mesh tent is designed to fit over playards or cribs as small as about 71 centimeters (28 inches) by about 102 centimeters (40 inches) or as large as about 79 centimeters (31 inches) by about 112 centimeters (44 inches). There are 12 plastic clips to secure the base of the tent to the top rail of the playard through button holes along the bottom of the tent. The tent has a zippered side for putting in and taking out the child.
There are no model numbers for these products, however they bear the logo found below and were sold under the following names:

Hazard Identified
These
products pose a risk of serious injury or death due to strangulation and
entrapment hazards presented by these products if the dome portion inverts
inside the crib or play yard, or if the product becomes partially detached from
the crib or play yard.
Tots in Mind recalled the play yard tents in July 2010 and offered a repair kit that is no longer available. The company is no longer in business and has stopped all sales.
Health Canada has not received reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these playard tents.
