Stokke in July/August's House Beautiful!

The Stokke Tripp Trapp is on the cover of this month's House Beautiful.

This month's issue focuses on living in small spaces and one of the feature stories is about a family in New York City living 390 sq feet.  A Stokke Tripp Trapp has long been a favourite of any space challenged family due to its longevity. The Tripp Trapp will grow with a little one from 6 months as a high chair to an eventual desk chair or just a regular chair in a teenager's room. It takes up to 300 lbs of weight.

Website of the Week: Design Mom

Gabrielle Blair of Design Mom describes her blog as where design and motherhood intersect and she definitely fulfills that promise. Design Mom is filled with posts about decor, clothing and a healthy dose of DIY. Find out how to make 2 toddler beds for $75 (U.S.) or to make a large mural of Napoleon Dynamite (or anyone you choose) for a wall.

A personal favorite series from Design Mom is her recent Birth Stories series. She recently gave birth to her sixth child and while she was pregnant she was posting stories from women around the world about their pregnancies, their labours and their adoptions. Often touching, always heartwarming these real life tales will enthrall and hook you, just like they did me.

Gabrielle is also one of the founders of kirtsy which is a website where users can submit links/content to read. It was there that I found Generatus.
