Introducing Grimms' brightly coloured wooden toys to discover the world of learning through playing.

At first disassembled, stacked, and sorted new ways of building can be found and new interesting games can develop. It is the minimalist design that makes the very special charm of the products. The fewer details that are given, the more room there is for imagination.

Watching your children play with the stacking games you will soon realize that less is really more.

Ready for the Holidays?

Hello Moms to be ...and More Customers!

Are we ready for the holidays?
Are all the gifts purchased and wrapped?
No? Perfect.
Come in and visit our Toy Section for a great selection of gifts for Newborns and Toddlers.

We take pride in all the research we’ve done to provide you with the most educational, stimulating, safest, durable and fun toys around! All of our toys are BPA-free, and many are organic – exceeding all of the highest safety standards. We all have our favourites here, but come in and discover what your child’s favourite toy might be.

Here is what is interesting to your baby:
0+ months:
  • Soft sounds – crinkly, squeeky, and music – be careful to not over stimulate them
  • Finds faces to be the most interesting – can mimic some expressions
  • High contrast colours and patterns will stimulate their vision
  • Hanging toys will encourage reaching and grabbing
6+ months:
  • More colourful patterns, with lots of textures.
  • “Happier”, more upbeat music will encourage baby to move
  • Rattles that are easy for little hands to grasp are a favourite – at this stage they like to pass objects from hand to hand
  • Toys like balls will encourage movement like rolling.
9+ months:
  • Baby can see almost all colours, and loves to track moving objects
  • Recognizes songs and may start to imitate basic words
  • Hand-eye coordination improves and loves to put objects into places, i.e. shape sorters, and building blocks
  • Needs larger area to play as can now begin to crawl. Using interlocking playmats on harder floors is nice on their little knees
12+ months:
  • Starts imaginative play – recreating your actions (like making meals, brushing hair, etc)
  • More into music now – will do actions to certain nursery rhymes.
  • Loves to stack, sort and knock over objects. Everything is put into the mouth
  • Crawls faster, and stands up (almost walking). Loves to chase after moving toys
18+ months:
  • Learns names of objects, and very curious about everything
  • Will sit and listen to short stories, and point out different things on the pages.
  • Enjoys using his/her fine motor skills more like turning the pages of a book, colouring/finger painting
  • Extremely curious about everything, and always on the go. Can now use ride-on toys.
24+ months:
  • Begins more independent and imaginative play – will create stories, based on what they have learned recently
  • They discover more of their creative side – will want to draw, build, and use their hands more
  • Enjoys “reading” books and being read to a lot more. They begin to really get into the story, and ask a lot of questions.
  • Many little girls will lean towards playing with dolls, and boys to trucks
