Get your Dog ready for the new baby!

“Diapers n' Doggies” – getting your dog ready for your new baby.

This 1 hour introduction is geared toward helping new and expectant parents foster the relationship between their dog and the new baby.  The transition can be stressful for everyone involved, but with a few helpful tips and a little education, it can be extremely rewarding:

• Hosted by Danielle Hodges, co-owner of Follow the Leader Inc.
• Learn how to recognize signs of stress in your dog as well as how to introduce your dog to baby equipment, such as strollers, cribs and baby swings.
• Learn what commands will make your life easier  
• We'll set you up so that your dog enjoys your baby as much as you do!
• 1 $10 Moms to be and More coupon will be given out at the end of the session
• Follow up sessions can be booked through Follow the Leader Inc. directly
• Please note that dogs are not allowed in the store, but you are more than welcome to bring your baby.

Danielle Hodges is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) and co-owner of Follow the Leader Inc. She is also a certified Canine Good Neighbour (CGN) evaluator and a member of the CKC. She runs group classes at Follow the Leader Inc. for dogs of every age and skill level. She also does private in-home behavioural consultations.
